**Job Description:**
As a key member of the senior management team, the Group Finance Manager will play a vital role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of the business. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a fast-paced environment and be able to effectively manage multiple priorities. They will be responsible for building and managing a robust finance function, ensuring compliance with local regulations, driving financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making across the group.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead and manage all financial operations across Ireland and the UK.
* Produce accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Oversee consolidation of Group accounts, ensuring alignment with relevant financial reporting standards.
* Develop and manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
* Partner with the leadership team to shape financial strategy, business plans, and funding needs.
* Provide financial data and insights to support commercial management.
* Establish and maintain robust internal controls and financial governance.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
* Manage external audit processes and relationships with accounting and legal advisors.
**Requirements:**
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance and hold a qualified accountant certification such as CPA, ACCA, or ACA. They will have a minimum of 5 years PQE and business level proficiency in English and Mandarin. Experience of working with ERP systems and excellent proficiency with Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, is also essential. The ability to work well as part of a team and to work independently with a willingness to take on additional duties as needed in a dynamic start-up environment is crucial.
