Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Person In Charge (PIC) in our residential services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing our residential staff team to support and assist our clients in every aspect of their daily lives.
This is a challenging and rewarding leadership role that requires strong interpersonal and management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
The PIC will be responsible for:
* Leading and managing a team of residential staff to provide high-quality care and support to clients;
* Maintaining strong working relationships within the team and with external stakeholders;
* Developing and implementing care plans to meet the needs of clients;
* Providing ongoing training and development opportunities for staff members;
* Managing budgets and resources effectively;
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards;
* Representing the service at external meetings and events;
* Coordinating with other teams and departments to achieve service goals.
Requirements:
* Relevant 3rd-level qualification in a healthcare sector (e.g. Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Social Work or other relevant therapeutic profession);
* At least 3 years post-graduate experience in a relevant healthcare setting;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
* Strong leadership and management skills;
* Experience of developing and implementing care plans;
* Knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* Good time management and organizational skills;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
