Supermarket Assistant Manager – North Dublin
Salary: €45,000 – €50,000
Excel Recruitment is recruiting an ambitious and experienced Assistant Manager on behalf of our client, a progressive and well-established supermarket in North Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a current Store Manager in a smaller convenience retailer looking to take the next step, or an Assistant Manager seeking a move to a forward-thinking and growing organisation.
About the Role:
As Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in leading store operations, supporting the Store Manager, and managing a high-performing team. You will have responsibility for sales, operational efficiency, and customer service standards across the store, with the opportunity to make a significant impact in a busy, modern retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Store Manager in all aspects of daily store operations.
2. Lead, coach, and develop the store team to deliver outstanding customer service.
3. Monitor sales performance, manage stock, and ensure efficient merchandising.
4. Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and company policies.
5. Assist in achieving store KPIs, sales targets, and operational objectives.
6. Deliver a positive shopping experience for all customers while maintaining operational excellence.
Candidate Requirements:
7. Current Store Manager in a convenience retail environment OR current Supermarket Assistant Manager.
8. Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to drive results.
9. Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
10. Commercially minded and motivated to progress in a dynamic retail environment.
11. Flexible and hands-on approach in a fast-paced store setting.
