Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team in Waterford. This is a key role that requires excellent problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a maintenance team of fitters/electricians in day-to-day activities of a busy Engineering department.
* Manage maintenance downtime, root cause analysis, and problem-solving on the Manufacturing plant with the Maintenance team.
* Maintain parts systems for new lines and services, as well as manage suppliers and costs for the Maintenance Department.
* Plan and issue all preventive maintenance requests for the company and liaise with the Production Manager on personnel resourcing for ongoing duties.
* Collaborate with the Operations team to review issues and create solutions.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' experience operating in a regulated industry/environment as a qualified mechanical fitter/Mechanic.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, PC skills, and project management skills are essential.
* Basic knowledge of Electrics is an advantage.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under pressure, and to deadlines.
* Good verbal and written communication skills and a logical approach to problem-solving are required.
