Our client is a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in the South Dublin area.If the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly.Due to sustained growth they are seeking to recruit an experienced Accounting Technician on a full time permanent basis.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join a very friendly and supportive firm with a great working environment, where you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your role.The successful candidate will have previous bookkeeping experience in an accountancy practice.Responsibilities will include: Preparation of Bookkeeping Records including Sales, Purchases, Bank Preparation of payroll for various clients Accurate processing and coding of invoices Processing of staff expenses Creditors/Debtors/Bank Reconciliations Preparing and submission of VAT returns PAYE reconciliations Preparing and posting month end journals Preparation of accounts to trial balance Assist in the preparation of audit files Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients Other ad-hoc duties as required The ideal candidate: At least 3 years' experience in a general accounts role Previous experience in a Bookkeeping/Accounting Technician role within an accountancy practice Strong knowledge of accounting software Excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills Ability to work to and manage deadlines Self motivated with the ability to take ownership on the role Competitive salary and great working environment on offer to the successful candidate.
