Financial Assistant Role
The financial assistant role is an entry-level position ideal for someone looking to start or progress a career in accounting and finance.
This role will provide the opportunity to gain valuable experience in day-to-day financial operations, including processing purchase invoices and sales invoices, performing bank reconciliations, and monitoring bank accounts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and organised financial records and documentation, assisting with the preparation of monthly reports and financial statements, and supporting credit control by chasing outstanding payments.
The role also involves providing general administrative support to the finance team, responding to queries from internal departments and external suppliers, and ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need a keen interest in accounting and finance, good numeracy and attention to detail, basic understanding of bookkeeping or financial processes, and strong organisational and time management skills.
Above all, you must be able to work as part of a team and independently, with proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
