Our client is a U.S investment management firm with operations in New York and Dublin.
They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented recent graduate to join their Dublin-based fund accounting team. This entry-level role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fund operations and accounting within a collaborative, international environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior accountants and teams in both Dublin and New York.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reviewing daily pricing and valuations
* Performing cash and position reconciliations
* Investigating and resolving trade mismatches
* Support the monthly preparation of shadow Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations
* Liaise with the third-party fund administrator to ensure data accuracy
* Assist the New York accounting team with payment processing, invoice review, and allocation (Accounts Payable)
* Participate in internal reporting, process documentation, and ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-border environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Interest in financial services and a desire to build a career in fund accounting.
