We are pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Buying Administrator within our Non-Books Buying Team. The Non-Books Buying Team are responsible for a wide & interesting variety of product categories, namely Stationery, Gifts, Games, Cards, Confectionery, News & Magazines. This key role will report to one of the Non-Books Buyers & will be accountable for providing ongoing product maintenance and administrative support across everyday & seasonal products. Role Synopsis: As Buying Administrator,your role will involve assisting the team in setting up new suppliers & products, maintaining existing product records, price files & assisting in setting up promotions. You will also be responsible for dealing with suppliers to ensure purchase orders are processed correctly & in a timely manner. The role will also include liaising closely with other internal departments (Stores, Finance, e Commerce, Marketing and Warehouse). Candidate Profile: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Good working knowledge of Excel Strong attention to detail is critical Pro-active teamwork and strong communication skills The ability to build strong relationships with external and internal parties Ability to act on your own initiative Experience in retail business preferred, but not essential ** Please note this is a fully office based role in Swords Business Park, Co.
