Project Engineer Lead
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage projects from scope development, design, build/install, and qualify through to handover to operations for key Technical Engineering projects.
* Maintain contact with the Project Sponsors to ensure engineering solution development remains aligned with the project's business case.
* Develop and maintain the scope, budget, and timelines for projects, ensuring adequate resource allocation.
* Coordinate and present project stage gates to the Capital Approval Committee.
* Apply scientific and technical understanding to develop risk-based approaches for investigations and troubleshooting.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to establish scope in improvement projects.
* Act as a subject matter expert on equipment design, qualification, system boundary definition, and quality risk management.
* Sponsor and foster lean six sigma and standard work within the technical engineering team.
* Drive continuous improvement by participating in projects, system failure investigations, and change control implementation.
* Integrate Computer Systems Validation activities into required projects.
* Collaborate between groups within the Technical Engineering function to identify synergies and improve work processes.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or engineering field.
* At least 5 years of experience in a Project/Process/Validation/CQV Engineering role.
* Strong project management and people management skills.
* Extensive knowledge and experience of sterile filling processes and equipment, especially aseptic processing.
* Proven record in planning and managing projects to deliver on time/schedule and cost.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience as a Capital Projects Team Lead for large capital projects.
* Considerable experience in a comparable role, with a proven track record in leading technical teams.
* Lean Six Sigma Methodology experience.
* Audit preparation and execution experience.
