**Job Title:** Civil Engineer


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our clients team based in West Dublin. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career and contribute meaningfully to major infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will play a key part in coordinating on-site civil and electrical works, supporting day-to-day project activities, managing schedules and documentation, and working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.


Responsibilities

1. Review project designs and drawings and assist with creating baseline programmes using Microsoft Project.
2. Monitor schedules, track progress, and prepare clear updates and technical reports.
3. Help identify risks, delays, and critical path activities, and assist with extension-of-time claims.
4. Review project costs and highlight any variances, offering practical solutions when needed.
5. Support identification of scope changes and contribute to discussions around additional costs.
6. Prepare and issue the required project documentation in line with contract requirements.
7. Provide technical support to on-site teams, including Site Agents, Supervisors, and QS staff.
8. Assist with preparing RAMS, electrical safety procedures, and other HSEQ documentation.
9. Carry out inspections and support site audits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and electrical standards.
10. Work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve design or coordination issues.
11. Ensure electrical installations comply with statutory regulations and industry standards.


Requirements

* Experience as a Project Engineer within electrical engineering, utilities, or civil infrastructure.
* Solid understanding of electrical systems (power distribution, utilities, street lighting, infrastructure connections) and associated civil works.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
* Full driving licence.
