We are seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to oversee the efficient management of day-to-day goods in/out and inventory for our product ranges.
The role encompasses accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch with light assembly for project orders. You will work closely with operations and technical support to maintain stock accuracy and facilitate order fulfillment.
* Receive deliveries: verify quantities and condition against documentation; record in the system and label for put-away.
* Store and handle products in designated locations; maintain bin accuracy and optimize warehouse space.
* Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders with required documentation and carrier labels.
* Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full stocktakes to ensure inventory integrity.
* Process returns (RMA): inspect, document findings, and route to repair/credit as instructed.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment; adhere to housekeeping, PPE, and H&S procedures.
* Operate material handling equipment as trained and certified.
* Update the ERP system with movements, serial numbers, and tracking information.
* Identify and address low stock levels, discrepancies, or damaged goods promptly.
Requirements
* Experience in inventory management or logistics, preferably handling technical products.
* Strong numeracy and attention to detail; comfortable working from inventory reports and SOPs.
* BASIC IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook Experience with Sage is an advantage).
* Ability to lift boxes and equipment within manual handling limits.
* Current counterbalance & articulated forklift certifications are an advantage.
* Desirable: familiarity with carrier platforms, serialized stock, or lithium-battery shipping regulations.
