Salary: Support Workers - €14.50 to €18.62 per hour.

Shifts Available: Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts
Working Hours: A flexible schedule that can be agreed upon at the job offer stage.
Reporting Relationship: This post reports to the Disability Coordinator.
Job Title: Support Worker
Probation: 6 months
Vetting: All applicants will undergo reference checks, Garda Vetting, and security clearance from any country where they have resided for more than 6 months after their 16th birthday.

Essential Criteria:
* Permission to work in Ireland
* Full clean B category driver’s license
* Minimum QQI Level 5 major award in Health or Social Care, or equivalent, or a commitment to complete it if some components are already completed
Desirable Experience:
* One year of experience in healthcare or social care setting
* Experience with report writing and client support plans
Candidate Skills / Experience:
* Ability to support clients respectfully, focusing on their goals and needs
* Understanding of managing challenging behaviour
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency with IT and report writing
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
* Supporting service users with physical disabilities
* Providing homecare and personal care, including support with hoist use
* Practicing safe driving habits and maintaining company vehicles
* Supporting clients to understand their environment, learn skills, and maximize independence
* Assisting with daily living activities
* Promoting community participation and advocating for service users
* Supporting clients with mobility challenges
* Supporting the care of service users as directed by management
* Managing challenging behaviours with positive support plans
* Providing activity reports to management
* Participating in staff meetings and care plan development
