General Manager
to lead their Dublin-based facility through its next phase of growth and investment.
The Role
As General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability across the manufacturing site. You will lead a cross-functional team and work closely with the CEO and management team to deliver on ambitious commercial and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily plant operations, including production, planning, procurement, quality, supply chain, and H&S.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a strong management team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
* Deliver operational targets including cost, margin, quality, and service KPIs.
* Partner with commercial teams to ensure customer requirements and market demands are met.
* Drive compliance with food safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards.
* Develop and execute strategic plans to support business growth and innovation.
* Manage budgets, P&L, and capital investment projects.
Skills & Experience
* Proven leadership experience at senior management level in the food manufacturing sector (ready meals, chilled, or FMCG highly desirable).
* Strong operational and commercial acumen with experience managing P&L.
* Excellent people leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Knowledge of BRC and ISO 2022
* Demonstrated success in driving performance efficiency, structures, process improvement, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
