We are currently Hiring for our 4 star Client Group Director of Sales to lead the commercial and sales strategy across all four hotels, driving revenue growth, brand positioning, and market share. This is a strategic, forward-facing role responsible for shaping the group's sales direction, developing key partnerships (including Fáilte Ireland and tourism agencies), and ensuring consistent branding and commercial excellence across the portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Leadership• Develop and implement a group-wide sales and commercial strategy aligned to the company's growth and rebranding objectives.• Lead, coach, and support on-property sales teams to deliver against targets for rooms, meetings & events, weddings, and F&B revenue.• Drive business development across corporate, leisure, MICE, and group segments, maximising market penetration in Ireland and key international markets.• Set annual sales budgets and KPIs, track performance, and report monthly to the executive team.Branding & Rebranding Support• Collaborate with marketing and PR partners to execute the March 2026 rebranding project, ensuring consistency of messaging and brand standards across all hotels.• Support the transition to the new group identity, including internal brand engagement, guest communication, and market repositioning campaigns.• Champion the new brand across sales channels and customer touchpoints, ensuring it aligns with our culture, guest experience, and commercial goals.Strategic Partnerships & Market Engagement• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Fáilte Ireland, Tourism Ireland, DMCs, and travel trade partners.• Represent the group at key tourism and trade events nationally and internationally.• Identify funding and training opportunities through Fáilte Ireland's business supports and programmes.• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and changing customer behaviours to inform group strategy.Collaboration & Leadership• Work closely with DOS, General Managers, Revenue Managers, and the Marketing function to align sales, pricing, and brand activity.• Provide leadership, guidance, and development to hotel-based sales managers, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.• Act as the voice of sales at group level, ensuring commercial goals are central to operational decision-making.Key Skills & Experience• Minimum 8–10 years' senior sales experience within the hospitality industry, preferably at multi-property or regional level.• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion.• Strong understanding of Irish tourism, hospitality trends, and the Fáilte Ireland ecosystem.• Experience managing branding or rebranding projects in hospitality or related sectors.• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.• Commercially astute, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.• Flexibility to travel regularly across the four hotels and represent the group nationally/internationally.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)• Achievement of annual revenue targets across key segments.• Market share growth (RevPAR index, occupancy, ADR, M&E revenue).• Brand awareness and positioning metrics post-rebrand.• Stakeholder engagement and partnership development outcomes (e.g., Fáilte Ireland collaboration).• Team engagement and retention within the sales function.Why Join.This is a unique opportunity to lead the commercial evolution of a respected Irish hotel group at a pivotal moment in its journey.
