The Offshore Principal Scheduler is the planning and scheduling Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Offshore PMO/IPO ecosystem. The role is accountable for driving high‑quality, consistent, auditable schedules across offshore programmes, and for embedding integrated planning standards, baseline governance, and performance insights to support delivery assurance and regulatory confidence.
The Team
The Chief Transformation & Technology Office (CTTO) is responsible for driving innovation, digital transformation, and strategic technology delivery across EirGrid, enabling the organisation to meet its decarbonisation and infrastructure goals through modern systems, data intelligence, and programme governance frameworks.
The Offshore Programme Management Office (PMO) coordinates offshore regulatory reporting requirements, audit/compliance, risk management, and monitoring/reporting of Offshore CapEx and OpEx delivery. It also supports performance reporting and benefits tracking aligned to strategic objectives across the offshore portfolio and key stakeholders.
The integrated planning roadmap establishes an IPO as the central governance and delivery engine for planning, cost, risk, and reporting—supported by standards, cadence, Control Tower reporting, and OPC rollout.
About You
Degree‑qualified (or equivalent) with significant relevant post‑qualification experience in planning/scheduling within complex capital programmes.
Deep expertise in schedule development, critical path analysis, baseline management, progress measurement, and schedule assurance.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex schedule issues into clear, executive‑ready insights.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multi‑disciplinary teams and influence stakeholders without formal authority (SME leadership).
Desirable
Experience in regulated infrastructure environments (utilities/energy preferred).
Proficiency/strong working knowledge of Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) in an enterprise planning context.
Familiarity with integrated planning operating models (IPO/Project Controls), schedule standards, and data‑enabled reporting approaches (e.g., Control Tower concepts).
