We are looking for a motivated and experienced Construction Manager to join our team in Kerry.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Quality Leadership – Set the standard for HSQE excellence, ensuring every stage of delivery complies with Irish legislation and industry best practices.
Team Leadership & Development – Guide, mentor, and inspire site teams and junior engineers, building a collaborative and high-performing project culture.
Project Planning & Execution – Manage civil works programs, ensuring milestones are met, budgets are controlled, and resources are effectively allocated.
Commercial & Contract Oversight – Lead on design coordination, procurement strategies, contract administration, and risk management.
Stakeholder Engagement – Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, utility partners, local authorities, and community stakeholders.
Sustainability Integration – Embed environmental objectives into project planning and delivery, supporting long-term value creation.
Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to permitting, licensing, and public works contract obligations.
Performance Improvement – Provide regular reporting, identify lessons learned, and contribute to ongoing business innovation.
About You
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (equivalent experience also considered).
Chartered, or actively progressing towards chartership, with Engineers Ireland (or equivalent professional body).
5+ years' proven experience managing large-scale civil engineering projects, ideally within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
In-depth knowledge of Irish construction regulations, public procurement, and energy-sector delivery frameworks.
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to unite diverse teams.
Solutions-focused, proactive, and commercially astute.
Full working rights in Ireland and a clean Irish/EU driver's licence.
