Role Description
ABC Nutrition Ltd are seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Food Safety & Quality Management System in a Sports, Lifestyle and Wellness Nutrition low risk manufacturing premises. ABC Nutrition Ltd manufacture several high-end products for private label brands throughout the EU and globally. The ideal candidate will have experience in the FMCG sector and understand ISO 9001, FSSC22000 standards and regulatory requirements at both EU & local level.
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Manager at our facility in County Clare, Ireland. The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing quality control processes, ensuring that all products meet stringent quality and regulatory standards, and maintaining the highest levels of safety and compliance. Day-to-day tasks include conducting quality audits, developing and implementing quality assurance policies, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The role also requires close collaboration with production teams to resolve quality issues and ensure product consistency.
Qualifications
* 3+ years food industry experience
* Experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Compliance
* Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field
* Experience in the nutrition or food manufacturing industry is preferred
* Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
