Salesforce Functional Consultant Job Description: Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to support a large-scale programme, working closely with stakeholders to deliver effective functional solutions. The client is happy to do a 6-12 month day rate contract. Job Responsibilities Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements. Translate business needs into clear user stories, process maps and functional specifications. Support the delivery of a large-scale programme, ensuring solutions align with business objectives. Act as a key liaison between business users, technical teams and third-party partners. Facilitate workshops, meetings and requirement sessions with stakeholders across the organisation. Assist with solution design discussions to ensure functional requirements are understood and delivered correctly. Contribute to testing, validation and user acceptance activities to support successful implementation. Provide ongoing support around process improvement, system enhancement and stakeholder engagement. Experience Required Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with strong exposure to Salesforce environments. Proven experience working on large-scale projects or programmes. Strong functional background with the ability to capture and document detailed business requirements. Salesforce certification is essential. Demonstrated experience managing and engaging with senior stakeholders across the business. Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively. Experience working in hybrid delivery environments and across cross-functional teams. Desirable Skills Previous experience within complex enterprise-scale transformation programmes. Exposure to Salesforce process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives. Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and associated tools. Experience supporting testing, change management and user adoption activities. Strong workshop facilitation and business process mapping capability. Educational Requirements Bachelors degree or third-level qualification in Business, IT, Information Systems or a related discipline. Salesforce certifications required.
