OverviewThe Quality Inspector is a key Quality contact for Operations, responsible for ensuring products and processes comply with the Manufacturing Control Programme and site quality standards. The role supports continuous improvement through line inspections, issue trending, and effective reporting of quality performance.ResponsibilitiesSupport Quality Digital Factory ways of working, leveraging leading metrics to optimize and improve process controls to reduce NRFT and CPMO for site.This role is key Quality contact for Operations team.Conduct Filling and Assembly line inspection checks to ensure compliance to Manufacturing Control Programme mandates.Conduct Shipping Area checks to ensure compliance to Manufacturing Control Programme mandates.Conduct trace and trending in relation to manufacturing issue analysis, to assist in determining true root causeReport/Log findings to Quality Wall/Leading Indicators to ensure timely reporting and accurate trending of data.Report findings at WPOA meetings to ensure timely reporting and containment of issuesSupport Quality Inspector Team Lead and Quality Engineers with NRFT and complaints issue resolution/Action plansComplete all Quality Inspector tasks as requiredSupport gap assessing the site Fix it Forever mandates/Manufacturing Control Plan and support action plans to ensure compliance to the mandatesPrepare monthly metrics on leafing metrics and site performance to closing out open items on Quality Wall/Leading IndicatorsSupport site validations.Flexible regarding priority changesDevelop and maintain an effective working relationship with operators in all areas.QualificationsBSc in food science, chemistry or equivalentA minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in Manufacturing Environment
