You'll play a key role in designing, securing, and optimising enterprise-class infrastructure across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. (County Louth - On site with clients as required) What you'll do Deploy, administer, and support Microsoft Windows Servers, Active Directory, and virtualisation platforms (Hyper-V/VMware) Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and hybrid integrations Lead on IT security, monitoring, patching, and disaster recovery planning Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, firewalls (SonicWall/Draytek/Ubiquiti), and Wi-Fi solutions Support SQL Server (2016+) and cloud database platforms (Azure SQL / AWS RDS) What you'll bring 5+ years' IT systems engineering or consultancy experience Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS Hands-on expertise in networking, firewalls, and security solutions (EDR/ITDR) Solid SQL Server and database management experience Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and mentoring skills Full clean driving licence (essential) This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and knows how to balance the details with the bigger picture.
