Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainable Water Engineering Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for working on various water and wastewater treatment projects across Ireland.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with the project manager to coordinate a multidisciplinary team, including process, mechanical, civil, structural, and electrical engineers. They will be responsible for assisting in the design development of water and wastewater treatment contracts from the early design stage through to detailed design and delivery stages.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing design and site activities, including team coordination, and have strong communication and writing skills. They should also have a strong understanding of contract execution procedures and be able to apply them effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the design development of water and wastewater treatment contracts
* Work closely with the project manager to coordinate a multidisciplinary team
* Manage design and site activities, including team coordination
* Ensure thorough knowledge and understanding of the contract for all assigned projects
* Communicate with clients and client representatives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have a minimum NFQ Level 7 degree in an engineering or science discipline, preferably mechanical engineering. They should also have practical site experience and be able to work on own initiative. IT skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point are essential.
