CIT is a specialist nursing team that provides enhanced patient care in the Community
Applicants must possess:
· Active NMBI registration
· Full clean manual drivers licence
· Good geographical knowledge of Cork City and County to facilitate home visits to patients
· Minimum 3 years post registration experience
· Excellent communication and documentation skills
· Proficiency in the delivery of evidence -based nursing care
· A broad base of clinical skills including wound care, Ostomy care, palliative and Oncology care, medication administration, CVAD care, catheter care, enhanced nurse monitoring, Anticoagulation management and patient education
· Competent in venepuncture and phlebotomy
· Competent in administration of IV therapies
Flexibility as the role involves both day time, out of hours evenings, weekends
