* Awareness of jigs/fixtures and consumable equipment spares is crucial for workstation efficiency and yield improvement, requiring data-driven decision making.
* Ensuring tooling availability and fit-for-purpose condition is vital for smooth production operations.
* A robust process for equipment spares minimizes downtime, while maintaining a sufficient Kanban system ensures timely replenishment.
* Skill sharing with new technician hires is an important aspect of this role, along with providing training on all worksteps and identifying Accept and Reject samples.
* Understand product functionality and defect implications, performing functional testing where required.
