The country Site Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the purchasing strategy for both Direct and Indirect spend, ensuring optimal supplier performance and price management.

The successful candidate will also oversee procurement compliance and governance, manage Purchasing and Cost Estimating activities across the business, and handle overall supplier contracts.


Results Focus:

* Create and implement strategies aligned with business objectives to add value, mitigate supply chain risks, and deliver cost savings.
* Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships; manage contracts and contract management to improve delivery of goods and services.
* Lead and manage the team to support business and corporate development objectives, collaborating with senior management.
* Practice purchasing vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to enhance business performance and develop the supply chain.
* Ensure purchasing strategies meet business objectives regarding price, quality, delivery, and development targets, including terms and conditions, supplier evaluation, and supply chain solutions.
* Evaluate business challenges, mitigate risks, and develop opportunities within the country and group.
* Contribute to business strategy and budgeting processes.
* Own the purchasing policy, guidelines, and related documents.
* Innovate procurement processes, including eProcurement.


Leadership Focus:

* Ensure effective communication supporting cultural change.
* Supervise, coach, and develop the team, promoting a 'One Team' ethos.
* Define training, development, and succession plans for the team.
* Collaborate with the leadership team to understand customer demands and improve performance via the S&OP process.
* Conduct performance feedback and appraisals.
* Maintain organization and discipline within the function.
* Partner with Supply Chain to generate build plans and optimize resource utilization.
* Develop relationships with stakeholders to ensure performance and compliance.
* Communicate market changes and their impact, recommending solutions without compromising quality or service.
* Contribute to new initiatives and projects, reviewing their impact on purchasing.
* Participate in people initiatives with HR.


Financial Focus:

* Support delivery of budgeted orders as part of the leadership team.
* Engage in performance reviews and improvement plans.
* Adhere to departmental budgets and provide forecasts and reports.
* Identify Capex needs, justify investments, and manage budgets from start to completion.


Additional Duties:

* Ensure health and safety compliance.
* Support sustainability targets.
* Engage in activities aligned with company strategies.
* Support new product development and engineering change requests.
