Position: Ireland Financial Lead & ControllerLocation: Dublin Office (Citywest) – Flexible working available.
Job Purpose
This high‑profile role provides finance support to the Irish leadership team to deliver the Irish business performance KPIs. As part of the UK&I Finance team, you will act as an SME in understanding and improving supply‑chain costs and align the finance function with the company’s change journey.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Ireland Commercial Finance and partner Sales, Marketing & Supply Chain teams with end‑to‑end accountability for the Ireland P&L.
Partner with the Irish leadership team to provide core operational support, business strategy, financial planning and business controls.
Provide collaborative financial and analytical leadership to build and deliver annual net revenue, profit and share plans.
Support the customer teams by analysing investment proposals to deliver data‑driven decisions for the business.
Support the commercial team on business controls including trade investment, marketing budgets and innovation projects.
Develop the S&OP forecast, review it against short‑ and long‑term targets, and identify focus areas.
Support the commercial team on existing contracts, customer growth strategies and new business opportunities to deliver the annual plan.
Lead the monthly brand marketing forecast process to ensure accurate full‑year budget delivery, including forecasting, in‑month delivery, accrual management and budget reallocation decisions.
Act as a subject‑matter expert on supply‑chain costs for the UK & Ireland Finance team, understanding key cost drivers through monthly engagement with the European team.
Embed business transformation processes across commercial teams as the new Magnum organisation systems and processes roll out.
Monitor and review rebates across the customer base, ensuring sufficiency and compliance procedures are adhered to.
Qualifications
Qualified accountant or equivalent finance experience with a background in finance partnering Sales and/or Marketing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to influence at all levels.
Highly analytical, motivated, with excellent collaboration and prioritisation skills.
Deep knowledge of core finance business processes.
Experience supporting testing and change‑over readiness in operational finance contexts is desirable.
Experience consolidating inputs from GTM Finance and other SMEs to ensure compliance requirements are accurately represented.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced commercial and project environment.
