Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Transfer Agency Operations Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational delivery and onboarding of transfer agency lift-out/M&A opportunities.
The role encompasses operational readiness, business/technical readiness, migration planning, and delivery. You will be accountable for the operational service delivery and client experience within this function.
You will ensure day-to-day service delivery and operational risk management throughout the lifecycle of the activities. Governance of the TA risk profile of this function is also a key responsibility, including ensuring TA meet all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Ownership of the design and execution of transfer agency lift-out activities and onboarding
* Accountable for the operational service delivery and client experience within this function
* Ensure day-to-day service delivery and operational risk management throughout the lifecycle of the activities
* Governance of the TA risk profile of this function including ensuring TA meet all Regulatory requirements
* Demonstrate a 'Risk Excellence' culture by establishing the tone at the top and drive a culture of Risk Excellence across the team
* Leadership and culture of the TA function with a focus on employee engagement and the development and retention of talent
* Driving the technology strategy and execution of TA strategic plans
* Driving a culture of innovation and transformation throughout the team
* Partner with Sales, Relationship, Product, IT, Compliance, and Risk teams to support management of key client relationships and service delivery, and new business opportunities related to Lift out/M&A
Requirements
* Outstanding product/service/operational knowledge in transfer agency (particular non-alternatives)/fund administration and successful track record of delivering TA projects
* Excellent operational end-to-end TA knowledge
* Some knowledge of UK regulatory environment and products
* Project management and analytical and strategic thinking
* Effective policies and procedures control – with a concern for quality
* Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills
