Automation System Engineer Role Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Automation System Engineer is to design, develop, and maintain automation systems that ensure maximum production efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough fault-finding on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled systems
* Implement preventative and corrective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime
* Support commissioning, programming adjustments, and configuration of new automation systems
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Hold a degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation (or related field)
* Have at least 2 years of experience in automation systems, preferably in injection moulding or medical devices
Candidates should possess skills in PLCs (Allen Bradley/Siemens), robotics, sensors, vision systems, and interpreting electrical/mechanical schematics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CMMS systems are also highly valued.
