Technology Director Role
We are seeking an experienced Technology Director to lead our company's IT function and drive technology strategy.
This is a senior leadership position that requires strong technical knowledge, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will oversee the entire IT operation, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecoms, and business-critical systems.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT leadership, with experience in managing complex IT environments and driving business growth through technology.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the company's IT operations, ensuring high availability and reliability across infrastructure, telecoms, and business applications.
* Oversee system integrations and upgrades, driving continuous improvements and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Maintain strong governance around cybersecurity and compliance, with particular focus on ISO 27001 standards.
* Manage cloud services and on-premise solutions, ensuring secure, efficient, and cost-effective delivery.
* Support and develop IT strategy around mobile device integration, VOIP/telecoms solutions, and collaboration platforms.
* Provide leadership and mentoring to IT staff, ensuring ongoing professional development and high service levels to end users.
* Act as the key point of contact between IT and the wider business, ensuring technology solutions meet operational and commercial needs.
About You:
* Degree-level education and relevant Microsoft certifications (Windows Server and/or M365).
* 5+ years' experience managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecoms, and business-critical systems.
* Hands-on expertise in implementing and maintaining CRM and job management platforms.
* Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and modern IT frameworks.
* Experience with SAP integration highly desirable.
* Telecoms/VOIP background, preferably within high-volume environments such as contact centres.
* Demonstrated ability to manage ISO 27001 compliance and risk frameworks.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally between sites.
