Financial Controller
Location: Limerick
Type: Full-time, Permanent
A well-established and growing multi‑site business in Limerick is seeking a Financial Controller to take full ownership of the finance function.
This is a key hire and will suit a qualified accountant who enjoys a hands‑on, commercially focused role with direct access to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and cashflow
Ownership of budgeting and forecasting, with ongoing performance analysis
Driving margin improvement and cost control across the business
Managing cashflow and working capital
Oversight of payroll and day‑to‑day finance operations
Leading and developing a small finance team
Ensuring strong financial controls and compliance
Supporting senior management with clear financial insight
Candidate Profile
Qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA
2 to 5 years post qualification experience
Background in an SME or operational environment
Strong commercial awareness
Comfortable in a hands‑on, fast‑paced role
