Responsibilities
Prepare all ingredients for service for allocated section to the required standard, ensuring no wastage.
Cook food to the required specifications.
Have joint responsibility with the Head Chef for the operation of the Pastry.
Train and develop kitchen personnel, to the required standards of The Kildare Hotel & Country Club.
Ensure the smooth running of food service with Restaurant personnel.
Ensure effective communication with all departments within the Resort.
Ensure all goods are stored correctly and hygienically in accordance with HACCP specifications.
Promote a positive working atmosphere at all times.
Must be able to work well on their own initiative and to work in a team environment.
Qualifications and Skills
A strong leader with great communication skills.
You will have a passion and genuine interest in food at all levels.
Friendly team player with an ability to work well under pressure.
Familiarity with all HACCP regulations and procedures.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Fluency in English, both oral and written.
Flexibility in working hours.
