Sales & Marketing Executive Permanent Role (Meath, Ireland)
My Client is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving sales targets for current and new products and customers and also building customer relationships for future growth. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying sales opportunities, building strong customer relationships and achieving sales targets.
The role will be a mix of field sales (60% - 70% of the time) and office-based sales work. Due to the nature of your role, you will be required to work throughout Ireland and other European locations.
Primary Responsibilities
* Maintain and develop business with new and existing clients through effective key account relationship management to drive growth
* Identify opportunities to upsell and cross sell products to existing and new clients, providing solutions using optimal market pricing to meet customer requirements and drive growth.
* Win orders, generating and developing new business through Lead Generation, managing prospects through a sales process.
* Be knowledgeable of competitors and their offerings, using the information to create competitive advantage.
* Support in creating, planning and executing the company's marketing strategy, to include updating online and offline marketing materials, including website, presentations, brochures and other literature to create a clear and cohesive company brand.
* Provide customer support, dealing with customer calls and enquiries, providing our industry recognised support and backup service.
* Process orders and quotes within required timelines to meet client expectations.
* Track sales data, analyse performance metrics, and generate reports to enable the sales team identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
* Organise/attend/participate at Trade Shows and other promotional events building brand awareness
* Ensure documentation required for month end routine (purchase orders, invoicing etc) is in place to ensure completions within require time frames.
Required Qualifications
* Third level Sales or other business qualification
* 3-5 years proven track record in a similar role
* Knowledge of Building Regulations
* Experience in construction environment
* Ability to interpret drawings and project documents
* Proven ability to drive the sales process
* Proficiency in the use of computer systems, particularly CRM and MS Office Suite
* Full clean driving licence
