About Your New EmployerJoin a dynamic, expanding company dedicated to environmental sustainability and innovation in waste processing.Be part of an experienced, collaborative team including Health & Safety, Transport, and HR professionals, focused on operational success and employee wellbeing.Play a pivotal role in shaping new infrastructure and growth across multiple sites, with a clear path for progression.About Your New JobAs the Waste Facility/Depot Manager, you will lead daily operations at our waste processing site, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient movement of materials.Manage a diverse team—including sorting operatives, machine drivers, and weighbridge staff—overseeing rosters, performance, and mentoring with HR support.Drive operational improvements, partner with Maintenance, Transport, and external plant suppliers, and deliver on SLAs and site efficiency targets.Ensure compliance with EPA licences, waste storage regulations, and lead on record-keeping and communications with EHS, inspectors, and neighbours.Maintain high standards for yard operations, staff facilities, stock, and traffic management, directly supporting the company’s ambitious growth plans.What Skills You NeedSignificant experience in waste management, depot operations, or similar industrial environments.Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.Operational knowledge of plant and material handling processes.Understanding of regulatory compliance (EPA, health & safety, etc.).Heavy machinery experience (desirable, but not essential).Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.What's on OfferCompetitive salary (DOE).40-45 hours per week, with some flexibility based on business requirements.Real impact and ownership in a key operational role with genuine career development opportunities.Work in a safety-first culture that values people, performance, and the planet.What's NextApply now by clicking the “Apply Now" button or reach out to our team to discuss how you can shape the future of sustainable waste management with us.
