If you're ready to take the next step in your career, apply now and become part of the teamThe OpportunityClaims Handler: Personal Injury Liability ClaimsThe successful candidate will become a member of the ROI Personal Injury Liability Claims team. The role will involve the pro-active handling and management of a portfolio of third party personal injury and liability claims from notification through to settlement up to High Court level. An important aspect of this role will be Claims Relationship Management with the successful candidate having responsibility for key clients/schemes relationships.Key Responsibilities:Proactive management of a portfolio of claims while demonstrating exceptional customer service at all times, to both internal & external customersClaims Relationship Management responsibilitiesManage and prioritise daily work flow to ensure customer charters are metDeal with claims in adherence to regulatory requirements such as CPC and CICARegister new claims and liaise with all relevant stakeholders at all stages of a claimInterpret and establish policy cover, indemnity, endorsements, exclusionsEvaluate liability through desktop investigation and the instruction of external resourcesEvaluate Allianz's potential financial exposure on an ongoing basis to ensure that each claim is adequately reserved forInstruct and liaise with the relevant service providersIdentify instances of potential fraud; escalating cases to the SIU team where appropriateNegotiate settlement of claims directly with claimants and/or solicitorsAttend Court for trials, settlement negotiations and other consultations where requiredDevelop and maintain effective relationships with external contactsSupport claims team administrationKey Requirements / Skills & ExperienceEssential:CIP, Dip CII, Grandfathered or ACII qualificationMinimum of 5 years of experience in managing personal injury liability claims, including handling Circuit Court litigation.Desirable:Previous experience in managing client relationships.Third level qualificationOur Benefits:We offer a competitive remuneration package, generous pension scheme contributions, health insurance, working from home allowance, numerous wellbeing and family benefits, an onsite gym, and a well-connected, accessible location with onsite staff parking and free lunches.LI-Hybrid This is a hybrid remote/in-office roleAllianz plc. is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.Regulatory Notice:Appointment to this role will be subject to the requirements provided for by the Central Bank of Ireland.
