Auxilia Group Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller on behalf of our client operating in the shipping and logistics industry. This is a permanent opportunity based onsite in Co. Cork.
Role
Full ownership of all day-to-day finance operations including AP, AR, and Payroll
Lead and manage the month-end close process
Deliver accurate and timely management accounts with clear analysis and insights
Act as lead point of contact for all external and internal audits
Take ownership of statutory financial statements and filings
Manage and oversee outsourced accounting providers
Lead the finance function with a focus on accountability and performance
Identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role
Strong background across financial operations, reporting, and compliance
Experience managing outsourced finance functions is desirable
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take full ownership
Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
Can-do attitude with a hands-on approach
