The Role
As Corporate & MICE Sales Manager, you will play a central role in driving revenue growth across the O’Callaghan Collection through the proactive development and management of corporate and MICE business.
This is a highly proactive sales role with a primary focus on the Irish Corporate and MICE markets, responsible for generating both bedrooms and meetings & events revenue through strategic account development, relationship management, and targeted business acquisition.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, and maintaining a strong and balanced sales pipeline across key market segments. A strong presence in the market is essential, including regular client appointments, networking, site inspections, familiarisation trips, and representation at industry events.
Working closely with senior leadership and hotel teams, this role will help shape and execute commercial strategies that enhance brand presence, maximise revenue performance, and deliver exceptional client experiences across the collection.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify, target, and convert new corporate and MICE business opportunities.
Develop and manage a portfolio of key Irish corporate accounts, agencies, and event buyers.
Drive bedrooms, meetings, conferences, events, and catering revenue in line with budgeted targets.
Build and maintain a strong and healthy sales pipeline across short, medium, and long‑term opportunities.
Drive revenue performance from contracted global, local, and consortia corporate accounts across the collection.
Identify opportunities to grow market share, increase account production, and maximise account profitability.
Conduct regular proactive sales activities including sales calls, office visits, networking events, and hotel site inspections.
Organise and host familiarisation trips and client entertainment activities.
Maintain strong visibility within the Dublin Corporate and MICE market.
Work closely with Revenue Management to ensure corporate pricing strategies align with commercial objectives and market conditions.
Monitor account performance, production trends, and pacing to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
Maintain accurate reporting and tracking of RFP activity, account production, pipeline activity, and conversion performance.
Collaborate closely with Revenue, Reservations, Events, and Operations teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and segment performance to identify commercial opportunities.
Prepare account plans, sales reports, pipeline updates, and activity tracking for senior management.
Represent the collection at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events as required.
Support the wider commercial strategy and contribute to achieving overall revenue objectives across the collection.

Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking someone who combines strong commercial instinct with genuine relationship‑building ability and a passion for hospitality.
The ideal candidate will bring:

Previous hotel sales experience within Corporate and/or MICE segments.
Proven experience in proactive sales and account management.
Strong knowledge of the Irish Corporate and MICE markets.
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and develop high‑performing sales pipelines.
Excellent networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of market trends and revenue drivers.
A proactive, organised, and self‑motivated approach to sales.
The ability to build long‑term client relationships and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Experience working with a hotel CRM and sales systems (Agency 360, Lanyon, Cvent) is advantageous.
A passion for hospitality, service excellence, and business development.
