Offer description

The Setting Out Engineer is responsible for accurately transferring design information from drawings and digital models to the physical site. The role ensures that all works for the housing development are constructed in the correct position, level, and alignment in accordance with design specifications and project tolerances.
Key Responsibilities

Set out house plots, foundations, roads, kerbs, and drainage.
Use survey equipment such as Total Station, GPS, and levels.
Check line, level, and position of construction works.
Provide technical support to site teams and subcontractors.
Maintain accurate setting out records and as-built surveys.
Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Surveying.
Experience with residential or civil engineering projects.
Ability to read construction drawings and use surveying equipment.
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
Experience with housing estate developments desirable.
