NNIT has an opportunity for a Project Manager for a major Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences client to manage a project that will review all current data and analytics systems, tools, inputs, outputs and overall data and analytics capability and value to the manufacturing operation.
The role will involve end to end project management and is a major change management initiative for the client.
Core Responsibilities
* Develop a road map and put a plan in place for an overall generative AI strategy based on data focused projects internally
* Project Management: Review all current data analytics related systems, tools, inputs, outputs and deliverables and develop a project plan for the upgrade of overall data analytics capability.
* Lead all associated key data analytics projects and programs.
* Evaluate current systems and tools and compare and measure them against available industry solutions for the regulated environment.
* Establish and leverage resources across the organization to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
* Identify opportunities, prioritize, and develop a clear roadmap for data analytics.
* Oversee the design, build, test, and deployment of data analytic solutions.
* Ensure project designs adhere to approved governance principles.
* Define support processes for delivered projects.
* Ensure exceptional data quality, accuracy, and auditability.
Skills Brief
* You must have strong experience in a Pharma, Life Sciences or Biotech manufacturing operation and understand the available software systems and tools and how data is managed, delivered and regulated in this environment.
* A clear understanding of generative AI and its usage in manufacturing environments and an interest in and knowledge of available tools and solutions for the manufacturing industry.
* Experience with the integration of AI functionality and tools into existing manufacturing systems and applications.
* Significant and demonstratable experience delivering a number of projects with a core focus on data analytics software and change management.
* Strong experience in data analytics or business intelligence in a Pharma, Life Sciences or Biotech manufacturing organization.
* Experience in digital/technology/process implementations, business intelligence, data analytics, visualization tools, and robotic process automation/AI.
* Proficient in OLTP/OLAP data structures, advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Power Platform capabilities, Business Objects, SQL Query, HIVE QL, statistical methods, and Microsoft Office applications.
* Programming: Basic knowledge of Python or R would be a distinct advantage.
* Experience in supporting data analytics model deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement of analytics models.
* Ideally you will have a recognized Project Management certification.
Person Brief
The ideal profile for this role would be an individual with a Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Systems, Science, or an equivalent allied to a significant volume of experience in a Senior Project Management role with a focus on software change management and transformation. Some experience with AI tools and applications and the integration of those into the manufacturing sector is essential. You do not need to be a subject matter expert but you must have a clear understanding of AI and its potential application in this area while also being aware of current available systems and solutions and a having a vision for implementing those within a manufacturing setting.
At least 2 years of this experience must within a GMP environment (Pharma, Life Sciences or Biotech manufacturing) and you must be able to show clear evidence of the delivery of critical data analytics and data transformation projects within these environments. You must have a strong understanding and operational experience within a GMP manufacturing environment and understand and have worked with the available systems and tools.
Only candidates who have delivered projects focused on data analytics and software within Pharma, Life Sciences or Biotech manufacturing environments can be considered. Other backgrounds will not be considered.
The role is based in Kilkenny in Ireland and will require weekly onsite presence and at times full onsite presence. Therefore you must live within a commutable distance of Kilkenny and be able to be onsite as and when required. Some hybrid working will be possible but cannot be scheduled or guaranteed in advance and therefore the role will not suit candidates seeking roles offering significant remote working opportunities.
