This Dublin based client customer-focused Security Systems Service Engineer / Technician to support service delivery across Dublin and the surrounding region.
This is a field-based service role, responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the full electronic security suite, including Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder Detection systems.
Working as part of the Service Team, you will support a wide range of customers and environments, delivering high-quality service in line with agreed service levels.
This role is well suited to an engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working across multiple client sites.
The successful candidate will; Deliver reactive and planned service support across Dublin and the surrounding region Carry out fault finding, maintenance, and repairs on Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder Detection systems Complete planned preventative maintenance activities as scheduled Support minor works, system upgrades, and enhancements Perform testing, verification, and basic commissioning where required Accurately complete service reports, documentation, and job records Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams Escalate complex or critical issues to Service Management as required Adhere to service standards, health & safety requirements, and quality processes This is a field-based role operating during standard business hours.
There may be an expectation to participate in a rotational on-call duty roster for emergency situations only, supporting customers across Dublin and the wider region, in line with standard service operations.
Experience required for the role: 13 years experience in the electronic security industry Practical experience working with: Access Control systems CCTV / IP CCTV systems Intruder Detection systems Experience in service, maintenance, or installation support roles Ability to diagnose and resolve common system faults Basic understanding of IP networking Strong customer-facing and communication skills Organised, dependable,and capable of working both independently and as part of a team Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Full clean Irish driving licence Ideal candidate The successful candidate will be a practical and dependable engineer or technician who takes pride in delivering quality work.
You enjoy troubleshooting, working across different customer environments, and contributing as part of a collaborative service team.
You may have gained relevant experience through service, installation, commissioning, or other technical roles within the electronic security industry or related technical environments.
