Research and Development Opportunities
Our company is seeking an experienced Research and Development Scientist to join our team. As a Research and Development Scientist, you will play a key role in advancing the research on commercialized products as well as working on developing the new product pipeline. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide portfolio of products ranging from veterinary and animal nutrition to plant protection, biocides, and biopesticide products.
This is an exciting role for an individual with a passion for life sciences and chemistry. The position involves researching the chemistry and developing commercially viable solutions. Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Working with defined concepts to research the chemistry and develop commercially viable solutions.
• Supporting the acceleration and growth of new product innovations by leveraging new technologies and landing consumer-relevant products with bottom-line impact.
• Analyzing proposed raw materials, in-process, and finished products, as well as stability samples according to the relevant specifications while ensuring documentation and reporting are conducted in accordance with good laboratory practices.
• Completing all testing in a timely manner that supports established NPD targets.
• Carrying out all necessary efficacy field trials, comparing results against standard products.
• Recording results in a timely and accurate fashion.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong analytical acumen, with the ability to understand formulation development. You should also have experience of HPLC & GC testing methods and the ability to carry out and analyze field trials. In addition, you will need to manage your own workload effectively, ensuring activities are aligned with business timings. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. A creative mindset and the ability to approach problems creatively are also highly valued.
