OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a
Social Media Manager
who would be interested in collaborating with us to build, refine, and execute our online presence across multiple platforms. You would help shape the public-facing voice of our company, plan and schedule posts, and support the growth of our audience and community. We are incorporated in Ireland and have remote contributors from various jurisdictions.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
We are creating films, games, and comics — stories with soul — for our own fantasy universe (think Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, etc., but smaller… for now hehe). We started 4 years ago as a small team meant to package a TV show. Finding ourselves unwilling to assign away our IP, we decided to build the universe ourselves to retain creative control. Now, 4 years later, our rag-tag band of pirates has grown to over 150 members (far over 200 depending on how you count).
Our current slate includes 3 short films (2 in active development, 1 in post production, 30min each), a comic book series (9 issues of Season 1, 40+ pages/issue), and two games (one Card Game with online and offline versions featuring our characters and factions, and one TTRPG with oneshots, campaign rules and region expansions). We also produce fantastic music, Shopify-sold merchandise, handcrafted art, documentaries about the making of Soul Atlas, lore videos, and shorts.
We have been working on getting greenlight, production up, worldbuilding ready, and marketing infrastructure set up. Now our task is to improve our existing processes and prepare for our first launches with financial implications.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Plan, schedule, and organize content across all relevant social media platforms
* Develop coherent posting calendars around launches, announcements, and ongoing engagement
* Collaborate with our content, art, video, and operations teams to prepare visually stunning and engaging posts
* Identify trends, hashtags, and opportunities that support growth and community engagement
* Track performance analytics and propose strategies to increase follower count, engagement, and subscriber numbers
* Maintain brand consistency across all channels and assist in refining our voice and narrative
* Support community-building efforts and respond to comments/messages where appropriate
MILESTONES
Our Marketing & Ops departments' main goals to which you would be contributing:
* Build and maintain a consistent posting schedule aligned with the production pipeline
* Increase followers and subscribers across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Discord, etc.)
* Help create a social media launch strategy for upcoming films, comics, and game releases
* Support the growth of an engaged community around the Soul Atlas universe
YOU
* A passionate social media manager with 0–3 years of experience (or demonstrable skill through personal/portfolio projects)
* Strong understanding of social media growth strategies and platform-specific algorithms
* Able to plan ahead, manage schedules, and maintain an organized posting workflow
* Skilled at communicating in clear, professional English
* Enthusiastic about storytelling, worldbuilding, and creative ecosystems
COMPENSATION DETAILS
Time Investment:
Part-time. Approximately 4–6 hours/week (flexible week on week, as we understand you may have other commitments) — you set your own boundaries.
Salary:
At this point, there is no salary for anyone in our team. We instead give parts of the profit away.
Profit Participation:
We are currently developing a profit share/royalty system that will award everyone who is part of the project a piece of the pie without causing any upfront taxation. Upon request for an interview, we will send you a detailed breakdown so you can make a decision on whether or not you want to continue with the application. This is fundamentally an investment contract (time invested, profit participation/royalties gained), and as a result, we are happy to support any due diligence you want to undergo ahead of joining.
