We are currently recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for a well-established hospital in Dublin.

Job Type Permanent / Full-time Assist the Pharmacist in the safe and efficient dispensing of prescription and over-the-counter medications.
Accurately prepare and label prescriptions in compliance with Irish pharmacy regulations and professional standards.
Offer appropriate guidance to patients on the correct use of medications and OTC products within scope of practice.
Ensure patient records and pharmacy documentation are maintained accurately and up to date.
Manage inventory and stock control, including ordering, storage, and rotation to minimise waste.
Adhere to all relevant Irish pharmacy legislation, including Medicinal Products and Misuse of Drugs Regulations.
Use pharmacy systems for dispensing, stock management, and record maintenance.
Contribute to health promotion activities and public health initiatives.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Support daily pharmacy operations, including customer service, administrative duties, and handling queries.
Requirements Recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification.
Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting (preferred).
Strong numerical skills and high level of attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of medications, their uses, and side effects.
Knowledge of Irish pharmacy regulations and ethical standards.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Customer-focused with a professional and approachable attitude.
