As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur's Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for an Senior Security Engineer to implement security controls, investigate threats, and ensure best practices are followed across Larian.
Responsibilities
* Identify, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities in infrastructure components and applications
* Deploy and operate security tools to detect and resolve issues across a wide range of systems
* Run security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and forensic log analysis to proactively detect incidents and threats
* Perform technical security audits and produce actionable recommendations
* Design and implement security baselines for operating systems
* Ensure incident handling and reporting procedures are followed
* Educate and train staff on IT security best practices
* Investigate and utilize new technologies, tools, and techniques to enhance security capabilities
* Maintain up-to-date security documentation and best practices
* Participate in change management workflows to ensure secure implementation
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in IT security roles
* Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
* Proven ability to implement proper system security controls, metrics, and performance indicators
* Solid knowledge of security frameworks and industry best practices
* Experience with enterprise security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
* Strong understanding of operating system security (Windows, Linux)
* Excellent communication skills in English
* This is a full-time, on-site role, requiring your presence in the office to support collaboration
Nice to have
* Experience securing multi-site or international environments
* Сloud security experience
* Scripting skills for security automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
* Gaming industry experience
