HVAC Supervisor
Our client is a well-established multinational EPCM consultancy working across the Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, and Biotechnology sectors.
The HVAC Supervisor will be assigned to a project as part of the Construction Team and will be responsible for the proper, safe, and timely execution of the HVAC scope of work.
The role includes full responsibility for supervising all HVAC construction activities and ensuring the successful turnover of mechanical systems to the client, in accordance with the company's Safety, Quality, Design, Cost, and Contract requirements.
This is a 6-month contract position.
Main Duties/Responsibilities include:
Assists the Mechanical Lead with Constructability Reviews and Interactive planning sessions with the Client and Design Team.
Ensures that the construction phase of the projects is adequately provided with suitably capable, qualified and experienced personnel, together with all the necessary plant, tools, temporary facilities and other resources.
Engages with the Design, Commissioning and Client teams throughout the project to ensure system turnovers are achieved to scheduled milestones.
Ensures that the applicable statutory and other legal requirements are properly observed.
Understands the implications of the Health and Safety at Work Act and Regulations as they affect the responsibilities of employees.
Ensures that the projects are constructed to the drawings, specifications, applicable standards, good construction practices, to schedule and in accordance with the cost budget.
Reviews contractor progress reports and provides input to weekly CM report out to Client.
Attends contractor progress meetings and daily whiteboard meetings.
Manage construction works from pre-construction to system turnover.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in HVAC construction, with proven supervisory or site leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
Proven experience managing contractors and specialist subcontractors on complex projects.
Strong focus on Health & Safety compliance, quality assurance, and project delivery on time and within budget.
