Ergo is seeking a Cloud Services Administrator with strong Azure and Terraform skills for a long-term contract opportunity in Dublin city centre. The successful candidate will support the design, development, implementation and optimisation of standardised CI/CD pipelines for promoting software into higher environments through validation and operational gating.
This is a hybrid role with great day rates.
What will you do?
Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) automation (in particular with Terraform) to create IaC patterns and modules.
Utilize modern software DevOps and CI/CD tooling, such as Azure DevOps, Git, YAML, etc., to provision infrastructure resources and prevent configuration drift.
Investigate and resolve complex cloud infrastructure related issues and recommend and develop solutions to issues and create documentation of reengineering processes as required.
Manage firewall technologies and develop automation workflows for network firewalls to enhance security protocols and integrate firewall management within the broader security strategy.
Develop, implement, and enforce Policy-as-Code (PaC) for Azure cloud environments to configure, detect, remediate, and enforce security standards, using security policies based upon CIS/NIST industry benchmarks.
Adapting CI/CD processes to meet the needs of a variety of Product teams, ensuring compliance with security and process quality gates.
Selecting and deploying appropriate DevSecOps tooling to facilitate Continuous Delivery.
Trial and evaluate new platforms, languages, frameworks and tools for CI/CD flow.
You should have experience in the following:
Cloud networking automation
Terraform Infrastructure as code automation
Azure networking tools (V-WAN, VNET, BGP, etc.)
Understanding of DevSecOps concepts
End-to-end DevOps automation via CI/CD pipelines to deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and usage of tools (e.g., ADO, GitHub/Actions, Jenkins, or equivalents)
Python, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell, YAML, KQL, or other
