The Chef de partie will report directly to the Head Chef.Good command of English language, work well as part of a team and having a good work ethic are essential for this role.The applicant must be a good communicator, exceptionally friendly and inclusive, even after a long shift.Responsibilities and duties will include:· Preparing and presenting a wide variety of high quality and complex dishes.· Keeping an eye on the section and standards.· Supervising other chefs to ensure top quality products.· Handling multiple tasks with attention to detail and presentation.· Maintaining a good working relationship with the restaurant manager.· Monitoring food temperatures.· Having a strong awareness and compliance with all Health Safety work practices, and the HACCP protocol.· Maintaining cleanliness within work areas.· Ensuring a high standard of personal hygiene.· Stock controlling, ordering, checking quality.· Cost analysis and review.Preparing reports and schedules.Job Types: Full-time, Fixed termContract length: 24 monthsPay: €34,000.00 per yearAbility to commute/relocate:11 Merrion Road, Dublin 2, CO.
