Accountancy Position
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage bookkeeping and payroll services for a portfolio of clients in Kerry. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, practice experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate financial records across multiple client accounts
* Process bank reconciliations, invoices, and journals
* Prepare VAT returns and process payroll
* Assist with management accounts and year-end preparation
* Liaise with clients to resolve queries and gather documentation
* Work with cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
Necessary Qualifications:
* 3+ years' experience in a practice-based bookkeeping role
* Strong knowledge of Irish VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping standards
* Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
* Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
