As a company committed to innovation, quality, and employee development, they are now looking to expand their skilled team with the addition of an experienced CNC Setter Programmer. CNC Setter Programmer responsibilities:
In this role, you'll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating 5-axis CNC machines to manufacture precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.

You will:
Develop and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
Set up CNC machines, select appropriate tooling, and prepare fixtures
Read and interpret technical drawings and models
Perform first-off and in-process inspections to verify component accuracy
Troubleshoot machine and programming issues to maximise efficiency
Maintain clear documentation of machine settings, programs, and changes
Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality teams
Mentor and guide junior machinists as needed
Carry out routine maintenance and support preventative measures
Ensure compliance with ISO, AS9100, and company quality standards
CNC Setter Programmer Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in 5-axis CNC machining
Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming principles
Experience with Mazak, DMG Mori, or Chiron machinery (preferred)
Familiarity with Hypermill or Heidenhain controllers (advantageous)
Competency in part inspection using calipers, micrometers, and CMMs
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
A valid work permit and current residence in Ireland
