This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic setting where your contributions directly impact children, families, and the wider community.About the RoleAs an Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality early learning experiences that support the holistic development of children. Working alongside the Room Leader, you will help plan, implement, and evaluate a play-based curriculum aligned with national frameworks (Síolta & Aistear), while maintaining the highest standards in care, safety, and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Room Leader in the day-to-day operation of the classroom.Implement a play-based curriculum that reflects children's interests, abilities, and diversity.Promote children's welfare and development, ensuring best outcomes for all.Act as a key worker for a group of children, maintaining developmental records and engaging with parents.Contribute to the preparation for inspections (TUSLA, DEIS, Pobal).Assist with health & safety practices, risk assessments, and monthly fire drills.Serve as or support the Designated Liaison Person (DLP/DDLP) for child safeguarding.Participate in regular supervision, CPD training, and team planning activities.Foster collaborative relationships with staff, families, external professionals, and community partners.Qualifications and RequirementsMinimum Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent); Level 6 or above desirable.Demonstrated understanding of Síolta and Aistear frameworks.Completed Tusla's "Children First" e-learning and Mandated Person training.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience working in an early years setting is highly desirable.Applicants must be resident in Ireland.Enquiries: / DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION: 17TH NOVEMBER 2025Garda Vetting is a requirement for this position and short listing will apply.
