Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Household Care Specialist to maintain cleanliness and order in a healthcare setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning clinical and non-clinical departments, waste removal and management, adhering to standard operating procedures, and liaising with waste removal operators.
Duties include ensuring all equipment is clean and stored properly, work areas are kept clean, and operate machinery safely. Additionally, the role involves removing waste, washing walls and surfaces, dusting high-level areas, mopping floors, and restocking supplies. Deep cleans are performed as requested, and checklists are signed off and returned to supervisors.
The ideal candidate will possess good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cleaning of Clinical & Non-Clinical departments
* Waste removals and management
* Following all SOPs and policies
* Liaising with Waste Removal Operators when onsite
* Operating machinery supplied for use in Waste Management and Cleaning
* Restocking disposables and consumables as required
Requirements:
* Previous Housekeeping experience in a Healthcare setting (desirable)
* Good interpersonal skills
* High level attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy in all duties
