Offer description

One of Ireland's leading Law Practices is now seeking an experienced Property Conveyancer/Legal Secretary for their busy, successful Commercial Property Team.

This Dublin-based role would see you reporting to Property Partners.

Responsibilities

* Managing property transaction documentation efficiently
* Managing files on our Practice Management System (Practice Evolve), including full compliance with file opening and archiving procedures.
* Liaising with clients and connected third parties.
* Drafting and amending documentation (including Statutory Declarations, search applications, scheduling deeds, Contracts for Sale, Deeds of Transfer and Leases );
* Preparing and submitting applications to the Land Registry. Experience with navigating Land Direct is required.
* Registering Deeds with the Property Registration Authority.
* Assisting with mortgage and loan procedures.
* Filing Stamp Duty returns and other enquiries online via ROS.
* Preparing document bibles and data rooms

Requirements

* Experience as a Legal Secretary in the Property Team in a Law Firm in Ireland or the UK
* Dictation experience essential.
* Strong IT, including advanced MS Office Skills
* Expertise with a case management system, ideally, although not essentially, with Practice Evolve
* Ability to work on your own initiative and in a team
* Effective written and spoken communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
* Previous experience working on new housing developments would be advantageous, although we stress that those without this experience should still apply, as it is a desirable rather than essential requirement.
